AK-4 Adapter Kit (supercedes AK-1 and AK-Red Max)

This kit will provide for the ECHO 403, 413, & 620, RED MAX 4800, 5000, & 8000 blowers to be hung on the BR-1 and DB-1 blower racks. Attach to blower handle as shown using both of the U-bolts included. The tubing must be slit lengthwise and wrapped around the handle as shown. The threaded ends of the U-bolts must face away from the operator as shown. When tightening the self locking nuts be certain that the nylon locking elements in the nuts fully engage the threads. There should be a minimum of 3/8" of thread exposed after tightening. The hanging bracket should fit snugly however. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

AK-4 Adapter Kit (supercedes AK-3 and AK-Echo)

This kit will allow the PB-650.651, 750, & 751 backpack blower to be hung on the BR-1 and DB-1 blower racks. Attach to blower frame as shown. The tubing included must be slit lengthwise and wrapped around the frame before attaching the adapter plate with the two "U" bolts. The tubing will protect the frame and help hold the plate in place. Tighten the lock nuts until the plate starts to compress the tubing and it is held securely in place. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Make certain the nylon locking element in the nut fully engages the threads of the "U" bolt. There must be a minimum of 3/8" of thread showing after tightening. Hang blower by large hole in the adapter plate.
