Assembly Instructions for Bull Rider Sulky (Generation II, non-convertible type)
Assemble as shown. Be certain to pack caster thrust bearings (#SP-5) with grease. Tighten all nuts and bolts.
Attach mower mounting bracket (#SP-42) to the rear of the motor frame using the four bolts and lock nuts provided.
Make absolutely certain not to interfere with any moving parts, controls, operator presence devices, etc. on the
mower. The mower mounting bracket is height adjustable using the series of slots and holes. The connecting arm
(#SP-49) can also be set in one of three positions in the mower bracket for height adjustment.
It is important to position the sulky as level as possible when installing. When not being used to ride on,
the sulky should be disconnected from the connecting arm by removing the lynch pin (#SP-15). Be sure not to
loose the machine spacer (#SP-24) when removing the arm. The connecting arm can then be raised and hung by
the chain and clip. A hole in the rear end of the connecting arm accepts the clip. Lubricate all moving parts
and check tire pressure daily. Keep all fasteners securely tightened. Replace any worn or broken parts at once.
