HT-1 Generation 2 Accessory Hand Tool Rack (released Spring '05)

Note: a TrimmerTrap TT-1 or TT-2 trimmer rack is required for use with this HT-1 hand tool rack. TrimmerTrap part number TR-1 hand tool rack is a "stand alone" hand tool rack that does not require the combined use of a trimmer rack. Assemble and install as shown. The width is adjustable to accommadate for varying distances between TT-1 and TT-2 trimmer rack uprights. The bottom "handle holder" can be attached to the trailer floor or the top rail of the trailer. TT-2 trimmer racks leave the factory with the mounting holes already in place. Teh two holes on the left side of the HT-1 near the slots are for attaching the optional LH-1 trimmer line holder.

Hardware kit includes:
• Nine (9) 5/16" x 1 & 1/4" bolts
• Nine (9) 5/16" nylon lock nuts
• Four (4) 5/16" flat washers

HT-1 Accessory Hand Tool Rack (to be used in conjunction with a TT-1 or TT-2 Trimmer Rack)
Pre-Spring '05

The hand tool rack consists of three pieces: (1) the floor rack, which has five pope holders which secure the ends of the handles, and (2,3) a two piece top rack (right and left side). The right side is longer and has the tool holder attached to it. See drawing.

Temporarily clamp the upper rack right side in position on the right side upright of the trimmer rack (hinge side on TT-1 & slide side on TT-2). See drawing. Next clamp the upper rack left side to the left side upright of the trimmer rack at the same height as the top rack right side. See drawing. Both top rack ends should now be overlapping with the end of the top rack left side in front of the top rack right side. See top view drawing. Line up both halves and clamp together. The left side is pre-drilled. Using two of the three holes mark the right side and drill two 5/16 inch holes to align with the left side. Bolt together using two 5/16 inch bolts and self locking nuts (provided).

Using the pre-drilled holes as a guide, mark the front leg of the trimmer rack right side and drill two 5/16 inch holes. See drawing. Install two 5/16 inch bolts and self locking nuts provided. Note: on the TT-2 trimmer rack right side the upper rack right side must be mounted as shown so that the mounting bolts do not interfere with the slide. Repeat for the left side, mounting to the side leg.

Using the pre-drilled holes, install the floor rack to correspond with the upper rack (bolts not included).
