LH-1 Trimmer Line Spool Holder use and installation instructions.

The LH-1 line holder was designed to hold any size spool that will fit onto it. The most common sizes are 3 and 5 pound spools. The LH-1 can be attached to all TrimmerTrap trimmer racks or just about any other desirable location. The most popular mounting location is the left side upright on trimmer racks because it locates the line close to the trimmer head for refilling. When attaching to a trimmer rack upright or any other angle or corner shape, the mounting base of the LH-1 should be all of the way into the corner against both angle legs and then bolted through one of the legs, this will securely hold it in place. To install a role of line onto the LH-1 simply slide the spool onto the spool shaft through the spools arbor. DO NOT install any of the flat washers before sliding on the spool. AFTER installing the spool, slide one of the flat washers onto the spool shaft and against the spool. The rubber hose in the hardware kit is to be used for putting tension on the spool to keep it from spinning and ust be cut to the proper length in order to do so. Be sure not to cut it to short. With the spool and first washer installed, hold the rubber tube tightly against the end of the spool and parallel to the spool shaft. Mark the hose next to the lynch pin retaining hole in the spool shaft. Cut the hose approx. ½" longer than the distance from the end of the spool to the lynch pin hole. Next, install the cut hose onto the spool shaft after the first washer, then install the second washer. Compress the hose by firmly pressing against the outer washer towards the spool until the lynch pin hole in the spool shaft is exposed and the lynch pin can be installed. The end of the trimmer line can be woven through 2 or 3 of the holes in the LH-1's base in order to secure it.
